About Perfect Fit Math
Perfect Fit Math is a free room design game that turns measurement into a puzzle. Work through 12 design jobs in bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. Compare furniture dimensions, solve a math question, and arrange a piece on the room plan to meet each client's requirements.
How to play
- Read the client's brief and predict which furniture will fit.
- Answer the math question. Use a hint if you need help.
- Move the piece on the plan, keeping it inside the room and the doorway clear. Check the layout to finish the job.
Use touch, a mouse, or the on-screen and keyboard controls. There is no timer, and you can try again.
Math skills to practice
The challenges use addition, subtraction, division, area, volume, symmetry, scale, and conversions between feet, inches, and centimeters. Players compare lengths and think about how objects fit in a space.
For example, a 12-foot wall is 144 inches wide. A 90-inch sofa leaves 54 inches of wall space. Other jobs ask players to center a piece or find the area left uncovered by a rug.
