Pick your creature. Read your rival. Master the powers.
Elemental Showdown is a free fantasy strategy game on Prongo. Choose an elemental companion, face a computer rival, and pick Fire, Leaf, or Water in a simultaneous magical clash. The three powers follow a simple rock-paper-scissors cycle. Collect battle rewards, build creature mastery, and discover new creatures and illustrated arenas.
How to play Elemental Showdown
- Choose Emberfox, Splashhorn, Gusthopper, or Boulderpaw from your collection.
- Choose an available arena, rival difficulty, and match length.
- Read the three-power reference, then choose Fire, Leaf, or Water. The rival has already committed its secret attack.
- Watch the attacks collide and read the result. A winning power earns one point. Matching powers tie and earn no points.
- Choose Next Round and keep playing. In the standard mode, the first to three points wins.
The three-power matchup rules
- Fire burns Leaf.
- Leaf absorbs Water.
- Water puts out Fire.
Only identical powers tie: Fire against Fire, Leaf against Leaf, or Water against Water. Every other matchup has one winner. Magical collision effects and signature stances do not change this cycle.
Build your elemental collection
Emberfox is a proud volcanic fox, Splashhorn is an azure horned guardian, Gusthopper is a swift sky hare, and Boulderpaw is a gentle stone bear. Every creature has all three powers. Earn visible progression rewards to meet Cinderstag, Tidecoil, Zephyrwing, and Rootmaw and explore Crystal Forest, Volcano Rim, Sky Ruins, Sunken Temple, and Moss Cavern.
Signature stances reward a winning attack that matches your creature’s affinity. Their Momentum is separate from match points, keeping the three-power cycle fair and easy to follow.
Play at your own pace
Use a mouse, touch, or keyboard to select a power. Controls have written power names as well as distinct symbols and colors. Sound and reduced-motion controls let you adjust the experience. There is no purchase or random loot box required to unlock the collection.
Elemental Showdown questions
- What are the elemental battle rules?
- Fire burns Leaf, Leaf absorbs Water, and Water puts out Fire. Only matching powers tie. A winning round earns one point.
- Can every creature use all three powers?
- Yes. All eight creatures can choose Fire, Leaf, or Water. A creature’s affinity powers its once-per-match signature stance, which can earn Momentum without changing the elemental score.
- Does the computer see my current choice?
- The rival commits its move before you choose. Its tactics use the difficulty and earlier rounds, so it cannot counter your current secret choice.
- How do I win a match?
- In the standard mode, the first creature to earn three points wins. The seven-round mode compares scores after seven rounds; a tied score continues into sudden death until one creature earns a point.
- Is Elemental Showdown free and single player?
- Yes. This browser game is free to play against a computer rival. Online multiplayer is not included.
- Where is my collection saved?
- Progress is saved in this browser on this device when browser storage is available. Clearing site data, private browsing, or switching devices can remove or separate that progress.
