How to Play Don't Touch The Red

Play Don't Touch The Red on Prongo. Tap every green tile, avoid the red tiles, choose from four game modes, and test your focus, rhythm, and reactions.

How to play

  1. Choose a mode: Arcade, Classic, Rush or Zen.
  2. Tap the green tile at the bottom of the board, then keep working upwards.
  3. Never tap a red tile. In Classic and Rush a single red tile ends the run.
  4. In Arcade and Rush, do not let a green tile slip off the bottom of the screen.
  5. Arcade gives you a shield that soaks up one mistake, and you earn another every 30 tiles.
  6. On a computer use the H, J, K and L keys for the four columns, or press P to pause.
  7. Beat your best score, then play again to climb further up the levels.

Is Don't Touch The Red free to play?
Yes. Don't Touch The Red is completely free on Prongo and runs in your web browser. There is no app to download and no account to create.
How do you play Don't Touch The Red?
Tap the green tiles in order from the bottom of the board upwards, and never tap a red tile. The board speeds up as your score climbs, so the longer you last the quicker you need to be.
What are the four game modes?
Arcade is an endless run that levels up every 15 tiles. Classic is a race to clear 25, 50 or 100 tiles as fast as you can. Rush starts quicker and keeps climbing. Zen gives you 60 relaxed seconds where a mistake costs two seconds instead of ending the game.
Does Don't Touch The Red work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The game is built for touch screens and works on iPhone, iPad and Android tablets as well as on a computer, where you can play with the H, J, K and L keys.
Is there a colorblind friendly mode?
Yes. Open Settings and switch on colorblind friendly mode. The tiles change to blue and orange and are marked with a tick and a cross, so they can be told apart without relying on red and green.
What age is Don't Touch The Red for?
It suits roughly ages 6 and up, and adults enjoy it too. The first level is slow enough for younger children, while the higher levels are quick enough to challenge older players.
